Discover the timeless elegance of one of Italy’s most iconic wine regions in our Chianti Classico Masterclass. In this exclusive tasting experience, we delve into the heart of Tuscany and explore the unique characteristics that make Chianti Classico one of the world’s most celebrated wine styles.
Let us guide you through a carefully curated tasting where we will compare different vintages, producers, and styles of Chianti Classico —from the traditional to those with a more modern expression. We explore the region’s unique terroir, the iconic sangiovese grape, and the framework that defines Chianti Classico DOCG. You’ll also gain insights about wine and food pairings, as well as how these wines evolve with ageing. A total of 6 wines will be tasted. The tasting is led by The Winery Hotel’s head sommelier, John Sterner.
No prior knowledge required. The tasting is held in Swedish.
