A wine tasting that takes you to the sun-drenched corners of Andalusia and the mythical area around Jerez de la Frontera – the unique home of sherry. Discover one of the wine world’s most versatile and misunderstood styles, where tradition, craftsmanship and terroir come together in perfect balance.
During the tasting, you will be guided through the many expressions of sherry – from bone-dry Fino and Manzanilla to more complex styles such as Amontillado, Palo Cortado and Oloroso. We explore the solera system, the importance of flor, the Palomino grape and how climate and ageing shape the character of these wines. Of course, we also touch on how sherry can be paired with food, both in classic and contemporary ways.
In total, we taste six different wines, accompanied by light bites designed to highlight the unique qualities of each style.
