Many of us associate sweetness with pleasure and delicious flavours, yet sweet wines remain a more complex and unexplored corner part of the wine world, something we have noticed many of our guests are increasingly curious about.
The process of making wine varies depending on the style you want to achieve. Some parameters can be controlled, while others depend to nature. In this tasting, we will explore how different dessert wines are produced, what defines them and how their taste and complexity differ from dry wines.
During the tasting, you will enjoy a selection of sweet treats crafted by our talented pastry chefs. We will sample five dessert wines of varying styles, evaluate which wines best complement each sweet bite and discuss what to keep in mind when pairing dessert wines with desserts. The goal is to inspire you to serve dessert wine with confidence at your next dinner party!
The tasting is led by our sommelier, Phillippe Björknert, and is held in Swedish.
